Up to San Michele

A Saturday with rain threatening and Carnivale canceled until next Friday because of bad weather, we made for Quartiere Rabate San Michele is a historic district located in the upper part of Sciacca.

We were hoping to experience the Saturday market in the piazza, but by the time we got there the thunder storm downpour almost caught us out in the open. The cafe at the top saved us from a soaking!















But sun and blue sky as we came back down the stairs.
